Holly has been wed at least three times. Her first wedding was with actor Danny Quinn. They were married in 1992 however, they divorced in 1993. Jim Carrey and she first met in 1994 while auditioning for Ace Ventura Pet Detective. She did not get offered the role, however they developed a friendship as they worked together on the filming of Dumb and Dumber. They got married in the year 1996. Following a brief relationship, they divorced in 1997. The couple got married to Francis Greco who was born Canadian. After she got married to Greco in 2007, she gained Canadian citizenship. The couple split up at the end of 2014. Holly and her kids reside at Oakville, Ontario. Holly, Grant and their respective families established their own A Fund in 1992 at Hobart & William Smith Colleges to honor her brother Alexander. Holly described him as an "boy who was full of goals, dreams and plans". Alexander was 14 when he lost his life. He had been to Europe, Central America, New York City and Los Angeles. Alaina was born on the 8th of November 1994, to Kristy the late J. J. J. Suddeth of Rossville, Georgia. Alaina began to sing at just 3 years old. Her first performance in front of an audience was at a local kid singing group. The next time she performed in public included a celebration that featured karaoke. The singer sang in any 30 mile radius, which included church services, at restaurants and other family occasions. In the following year, she was asked to perform on the Riverbend Festival's Kids Talent Stage. She traveled across the country to Orlando, Florida, when she was ten to compete at the American Model and Talent Competition. She defeated 1500 competitors to claim the title. Alaina was a part of the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association children's choir. Alaina first went to Nashville in her teens. The singer performed at Tootsie's and at other local bars on Broadway. Alaina was the winner of the WinniSTAR contest to showcase young talent in 2009 at Lake Winnepesaukah. She also wrote songs like Leaving and Set Me Free. Alaina began singing after her cousin Holly Witherow who had been diagnosed with a tumor of the brain inspired her. Alaina had previously worked at CiC's Pizza.
